Meet Monica Padilla!

Monica Padilla has had a long-lasting impact within REACH. She’s a Freshman at the University of Illinois at Chicago studying Biology and Public Health with a Pre-med track aspiring to be an Oncologist.

“My favorite motto is, if not you, then who? REACH has taught me to not doubt myself and have the confidence to help my community. I’ve grown with REACH not outgrown REACH.”

Monica was one of the first students that received her CNA Certification in Rush’s first class. She participated in the MedSTEM Explorer Program in 2019 and now serves on REACH Youth Advisory Council.
